"Celebrate Our Freedom" at the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History. Join the Museum, around 2pm in the Courtyard, as we celebrate our freedom on Independence Day with patriotic music, a reading of the "Declaration of Independence" by "Ben Franklin" and free lemonade for everyone! July 4, 2010-MOUNT AIRY 4th of July Parade Mount Airy will celebrate our country’s independence with a parade beginning Sunday at 3pm.
"All American Fourth of July: Baseball, Hot Dogs, Apple Pie and Lemondade" is the theme of this year's Independence Day Parade. Sunday, July 4, beginning at 3pm downtown with reading the Declaration of Independence and other events. Parade will leave from Veterans Memorial Park at 3pm, featuring little league baseball teams and with Bolt, Mascot of the Winston Salem Dash as Grand Marshall.
There will be a cake cutting and other activities at 5pm at City Hall in Mount Airy for the 125th Anniversary with our nations 234th Birthday. That evening there will be music and fireworks at Veteran's Memorial Park located near downtown Mount Airy.
