Guided Hike & Gourmet lunch. Learn first hand about our local history, haunts, mysteries and wildflowers while you explore a moderate trail in the Blue Ridge. We'll pick you up and return you the the winery for a three course gourmet lunch. $45.00 per person and reservations are required. Seating is limited to 12.

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains and open year round, we welcome visitors to tour our facilities, experience our wines and savor our American cuisine while enjoying such events as Black Dog & Our Dog Blues Concerts all in an elegant old world atmosphere. A comfortable drive from the Piedmont Triad, Charlotte, Roanoke and Martinsville, is both a relaxing and exciting experience for anyone who enjoys fine wine, good food and natural surroundings. is truly one of Southwest Virginia’s premier destination points!

Directions from Mount Airy:

Mt. Airy:

Take 52 North to entrance of Blue Ridge Parkway. Head North on the Blue Ridge Parkway and watch for Mile Marker 172. Approximately ½ mile beyond it, take a left onto Black Ridge Road and then an immediate left onto Winery Road. Chateau Morrisette is located approx. 300 yards down Winery Road on the right.

Non Parkway Route but is a much longer drive than the route listed above.
Take 52 North to Hillsville. Turn right onto 58 East. Travel this road untill you see the BB&T bank on your left, turn left onto Rt. 758 and follow it for approx. 4-1/2 miles, turn right onto Rt. 726 and follow it for approx. 2 miles. When you come to the stop sign, cross over the Parkway and take an immediate left onto Winery Road. Chateau Morrisette is located approx. 300 yards down Winery Road on the right.
