All aboard! Grassy Creek Cabooses are authentic railroad cabooses that have been renovated with all modern conveniences. It’s located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway on 34 acres with long range views.

Passengers can take a trail down to Grassy Creek, admire the views from a log rocker on the deck, or relax in the two-person Jacuzzi. The cabooses are furnished with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, heater, AC and grills with a picnic table. Guests are able to visit local wineries from a central location. Two cabooses are available at $95 per night plus tax. Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted.

Check-in is at 3 p.m. Check-out is 11 a.m. Reservations are required. Directions: From I-77, take the Blue Ridge Parkway north at Hwy. 52. Turn left on Keno Road between mileposts 193 and 194 and go 1.5 miles. For more information, contact owner Donnie Yow.

If traveling north from hwy 52 turn left on Keno Rd at the Orchard Gap market for 1.5 miles. If traveling south on the parkway from hwy 58 turn right on Keno rd at the Orchard Gap market.
