Mount Airy Bike Rentals will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m at Riverside Park on Riverside Drive right near Downtown Mount Airy. Thursday through Sunday until November.
Hours: Thursday-Saturday 9am-8pm
Sunday: 1pm-8pm
Those who want to rent bikes need to have a valid driver’s license, which they must leave when renting a bike.
Patrons will pay for the bike rental in advance and then pick up their license when they bring the bike back.
$2 for toddler rentals, $3 per hour for children’s bike rentals and $6 per hour for adult rentals. Helmets and child seats are $1 per hour extra.
You will ride the Bicycle on the Ararat River Greenway. The Ararat River Greenway is a little more than two miles in length.
