As many as 100 local musicians and fans will gather to pick, sing, dance, laugh and share the fun that only an old-fashioned jam session can bring every Thursday night at the Andy Griffith Playhouse.

Weather permitting, this sea of Bluegrass and Old-Time music spills out of the downstairs rooms and onto the playhouse lawn.

It’s a come-as-you-are toe-tapping good time. The jam begins at 7 p.m. and usually continues until 10 p.m. There is no admission charge.
