Tim Frye's Pickin' On The Creek started in 1998, and since that time it has become of the best-known traditonal music venues in northwest North Carolina. Pickin' On the Creek is held inside the lower level of the Granite City Floor Covering Building, a family-owned business that has been in operation for over 40 years. The performance area has a large stage, and usually two bands will play two sets. In the middle of the evening an intermission is held and door prizes are given away. Light refreshments are available. Doors open at 6:30pm and the show starts at 7:30pm. This is a wonderful place to enjoy some good, clean, family fun along with some great music! If interested in attending this event please call ahead to confirm show dates. Also, private shows can be arranged for tour groups.
