Volunteer Gap Cabins is located just seven miles north on the Blue Ridge Parkway from Fancy Gap, Va., and is only minutes from I-77 and Hwy. 52 and Hwy. 58. Guests will step back in time and enjoy one of the rustic cabins located behind the Inn down at the stocked ponds. This quaint country retreat is only 30 minutes from the historical Mount Airy—the mythical Mayberry. Eight units are included in this quiet getaway with prices ranging from $99 to $125 per night. Rooms in the Inn cost $49 to $125 per night. Check-in is 2-3 p.m. Check-out is 11 a.m. Credit cards and cash are accepted. Coffee is furnished, and the property is only minutes away from casual and fine dining. Each unit has a kitchen and dining area with a portable refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker and a toaster. Directions

We are located at milepost 193, parallel with the Blue Ridge Parkway (approximately 200 yards off of the Parkway), seven miles north of Fancy Gap, VA, one hour north of Winston-Salem, NC, only 30 minutes north of the famous Mayberry USA in Mt. Airy, NC, and one hour from race country in Martinsville, VA.

Go north on the Parkway from Fancy Gap to the Orchard Gap Historical sign.

Take a short left and then an immediate left onto Keno Road.

Bear to the right on Keno down to Volunteer Road (only goes to the right). Follow Volunteer Road down to our signs at the bottom of the hill.

If you are coming south on the Parkway, go past mile post 193 and the Volunteer Gap Historical sign to the Orchard Gap Historical Sign. Take a right and follow the map.
