Located within one mile of Elkin, Grassy Creek Vineyard is set on the historic grounds of Klondike Cabins, a former retreat and hunting lodge for the Hanes family and later Chatham Manufacturing Company.
The tasting room is located in a renovated horse barn and is open Thursday through Saturday, noon to 6 p.m., and on Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
For the months of January and February, the tasting room is open on Friday and Saturday only.
