Come celebrate the life and music of Thomas Jefferson Jarrell! This event is held annually during Tommy Jarrell’s birthday weekend, and takes place at various Surry Arts venues with the main location being the beloved Historic Earle Theatre!

On Friday, Wayne Erbsen will lead a banjo workship from 2-4pm at the Andy Griffith Museum. Theatre. Registration is $35 per participant. At 7pm, Erbsen will have perform! Saturday festivities include old-time workshops with The Rond Peak Boys from 2-4pm at the Historic Earle Theatre. Registration is $25 per participant which includes the event concert.

There will also be youth competition on Saturday at 4pm at the Andy Griffith Museum Theatre. Competition entry is free. The Tommy Jarrell birthday concert will kick off later that day at 7:30 p.m. at the Historic Earle Theatre with a performance by The Round Peak Boys. Tickets are $12.
