The Mount Airy Appearance Commission is excited to announce a new holiday event to help celebrate the annual lighting of the City Christmas Tree. Drive through Downtown Mount Airy on Thursday, December 3rd between 6pm and 6:30pm to enjoy a half mile of light displays, beautifully decorated windows and live music from musical group such as the Moravian Band, Surry Sings Community Chorus, Mount Airy High School Band and more! Wave at Santa Claus from your car. He will be in his sleigh in front of city hall. Don't forget to bring your letters to Santa Claus with your Christmas wishes to drop in his Special Mailbox! **Due to COVID-19 and current regulations, please stay in your vehicle.**
