Originally organized in 1969 to maintain the religious traditions of their ancestors through spiritual and gospel songs, the NC A&T Gospel Choir’s mission is to promote gospel music. Hosted by the Surry Arts Council and the African American Historical and Genealogical Society, this event is supported by a Grassroots Grant from the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts. Free admission.
