In partnership with North Carolina Scifest, the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History will be holding its first ever Mount Airy Granitefest on Saturday April 18 from 10am to 5pm. Discover the history of Mount Airy White Granite by attending educational presentations and seeing quarry artifacts.

Engage in fun, educational hands-on acctivities that teach kids about local history and STEM concepts. Learn about the formation of granite and how the incredible structures made with this stone were built.

Granitefest is free and open to the public.
