The beloved Sonker Festival is to be held Saturday, October 7th, at the Edwards-Franklin House west of Mount Airy!

For those who attend the festival, there will be sample sonker from a variety of special family recipes that have been passed down through generations. Admission to this event is free; sonker and beverages will be available for purchase.

Bluegrass and Old-Time music, flat-foot dancing, and artisan exhibits will be included in the festivities.
