The First Mayberry Book Festival will be held on July 19 from 10 am until 2 pm on the third floor of the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History.

Thirty authors from genres as diverse as fantasy, biography, civil war, history, and genealogy will be present. There will be authors with books about Andy Griffith and Mayberry as it is the weekend of the thirteenth Mayberry Meet Up in Mount Airy. Admission is $8, which includes museum and festival. This is a fundraiser for the Perry Family Scholarship.
