The Mayberry Days Parade is on the Saturday of the festival, September 27th, starting at 9 a.m. in Downtown Mount Airy! Arrive early for a good spot!

This is a wonderful festival with fun for the entire family! Fans of the show will love traveling back in time - to the days when life was simple and the sheriff did not have to carry a gun.

include Betty Lynn who played Thelma Lou, Joy Ellison who played Effie Muggins and more, James Best who played Jim Lindsey, George Spence who played Frank the Fiance, Elizabeth McRae who played Betty Parker, Maggie Peterson who played Charlene Darling, Karen Knotts who is Don Knotts' daughter, George Lindsey Jr. who is George "Goober" Lindsey's son, Rodney Dillard from The Darling Boys, and MORE! Free shuttle service will run on a loop all day on Friday and Saturday, September 26 and 27, to the following locations: - Virginia Street parking lot (Downtown Mount Airy, off of N.
