The Yadkin Valley wine region is a vibrant river valley known as “Napa of the East.” Mount Airy is the perfect basecamp for exploring nearly 40 wineries in the Yadkin Valley wine region, which was established in 2002 as North Carolina’s first American Viticultura Area (AVA). We invite you to come tour the sparkling vineyards and wineries that beckon throughout the Yadkin Valley wine region. The Yadkin Valley also has the addition of a new brewery and a moonshine/whiskey/brandy distillery.
